Jamie has recently moved back to Cumbria, living close to the Solway. He loves taking a pochard box on his bike with him and painting small studies of the local landscape.  Some of these he then works up into larger more abstract paintings back in the studio.

 

He also is currently creating a body of work of British birds, which are more detailed, almost character paintings of these beautiful creatures.

 

Jamie loves working with different media such as acrylic, oil and cold wax and sometimes gold leaf.

 

He shows his paintings in London and Cumbrian Galleries as well as being a member of the Lake Artists Society.
