In the late spring of 2020 I painted this from small paintings, sketches (in situ in Bushy Park London) and also photographs. The house we were living in was too small for me to paint indoors so our garden became my studio, thankfully the weather was beautiful, I only had to avoid the woodpigeons adding to the painting as they sat in a mature ash above me.
